Recognition of Same-Sex
Marriage – Dreams DO come true! And the greatest of these is LOVE!
Preamble:
WHEREAS
we affirm the right of our Spiritual Community members, and all individuals, to
search their hearts and arrive at their own conclusion; we nonetheless deem it
our responsibility as a spiritual organization to speak according to our Vision
and Philosophy, and;
WHEREAS,
it is stated in "What We Believe", Cambria Church of Religious Science believes
that God is the Spirit of Love and God is incarnated in all people,
and;
WHEREAS,
"We believe that the Science of Mind Philosophy can transform the hearts and
minds of humanity and contribute significantly to bringing love, harmony, peace
and abundance to all people everywhere, without consideration of race, color,
gender, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, or physical
condition," and;
WHEREAS,
in the eyes of our spiritual faith and vision any marriage of two committed,
loving people is held to be spiritually binding and valid, and;
BE IT
THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Gold Coast Church of Religious Science supports and
embraces marriage between all couples who proclaim it! And So It Is.
